Dome world

Happy New Year
already a month has past and we have a lot to look forward too in this coming year.
I have been busy cutting out from The Enchanted Tea Party papers, but before I show you my latest creation I thought I would take a walk down memory lane
just recently I have had two domes come home for a temporary stay until their new location or home gets built. Which is now making it a dome city.
so thought I would put them together and take some pictures leading up to my new creation

this was my very first  dome I think maybe six years ago 2011 wow  back then I couldn't actually find a dome so I used a vase and turned it up side down carefully hidden with paper flowers and a ribbon I stamped on it as well with white Staz-on ink

the small vase
and a terocotta saucer

Using Imaginarium chipboard created in 2013 and inspired from Jane Tregenza
I have realized I have not taken enough photos of this one so with mynext post I will share both

this was not made to go in a dome but it fits so why not
this was featured in a Scrapbooking magazine

teracotta base again for dome to sit on

my mum found me some beautiful glass cake stands from the second hand shop

Cloche/Domes are such a beautifully elegant piece of glass I also have one sitting over two old cameras they are not just to keep and protect off the page projects I believe they are also used in gardens
I will take some more photos and share soon
thank for visiting
