lots of layers

lots of layers
I have been experimenting lately with gesso and a little texture paste with a lot ending up in the bin, hence all I have ended up doing is painting the end of the chipboard with Gesso to try and achieve a rustic result. I will however continue to play with these mediums to achieve something that I am happy with a take a while
now for some pics

now for the darker version

Dimension

I have been playing with some different concepts in the past couple of days thanks to, Jane Tregenza when she showed me a card she made at class this month. As soon as I saw it ideas started into my head,
hence I came up with these two concepts there is still room for improvement so I will keep playing with this concept, because I love the ability to work with dimension.

I would also like to put these two concepts together a dome front card and Easel I am sure its been done before, this is my latest Easel card I have made so maybe next time I may have that to share

I have used on these cards
from Meg's Garden

Spring Pink Toile P6316
Damask in Shades of Green P6373
Damask Garden P6372
Gates into the Damask Garden P6381

The beautiful gate is from

Its clear

hello me again
this time I wanted to do something  a little different, the best ideas come as you are creating something else, so quickly did I move on. Its been a while since I have created with acetate I love working with it as it gives me the opportunity to create dimension.

 the reverse side

I have painted the chipboard black on one side and cream on the other side
On the acetate I have used colour texture paste and stamped images over the top
yes they are the same photo I am waiting on my nephew to hand over some more photos to put into his album
I have used on my pages
Papers from Meg's Garden
as well as Imaginarium chipboard which I have designed
and Couture Creations die cut folders Ornate Rectangle and Royal Oval
B Line leaf stamp

CSI 128

I cant believe how time has flown by this year, is it because I am getting older or because we live and strive to achieve so much in a small amount of time. One of my favourite quotes was " you make time" now I am finding my self saying "I couldn't find time," or is it just I am slowing down  with age and cant achieve so much in one day.
I looked at the calender this morning, and realized we are coming up to the winter solstice which is actually tomorrow to be exact this year, I always like to know when it falls because I can then look forward to the days gradually getting longer, the funny thing is, I never look for the summer solstice only the winter.
I have been busy thou, some may think other wise but soon all will be revealed and I am looking forward to being able to share what I have been staying up to the wee hours in the morning working on. that too could mean my graphic design assignments.

Today however I have a page to share  which I have solved  for CSI Case file  128 as Meg's Garden are sponsors this month over at CSI
I will admit that the crime scene was a little difficult to solve at first, one element put me off completely and then all of a sudden it was all very clear how to put the pieces together and I was able to solve the case and got straight to it, rather quickly.

so here is my answer to file 128

to help me solve CSI I used this evidence
numbers, door/window, flowers, chalkboard elements, distressing,  ribbon/bows, frame, punches, chalk/pastels.
and stamps from  B-Line

now off to solve another case up in my craft room but I fear this crime scene will never be solved
